An apartment is owned and governed by a single owner or entity (often a corporation), set rules and regulations apply throughout the premises including each individual unit. A condominium is a residential building in which each individual unit is owned by a different owner.

Each pet friendly residence will have its own specific pet friendly policies in place. The majority of pet friendly buildings in Bangkok will have restrictions of what size and breeds of dogs are allowed. Not all pet friendly buildings accept dogs, some pet friendly residences will only allow certain types of pets such as cats, rabbits or hamsters.
Even if the pet friendly condominium rules and regulations clearly state that building allows pets, make sure that the owner themselves accepts pets in their property. Always confirm with your agent that the landlord accepts pets before putting down a deposit or signing a lease agreement.
